Why not take part in this traditional Easter pastime? Children, young people and their families are invited to roll their own handmade, decorated eggs down Penshaw Monument. The event, which is sponsored bySainsbury's, Washingtontakes place on Maundy Thursday at 2pm is free. Everybody who takes part will receive a delicious crme egg and the lucky winner from each category will win a chocolate Easter egg!
