It's the biggest event in the north east calendar, attracting thousands of visitors every year to Sunderland's seafront at Roker and Seaburn.

The event runs from 10am - 6pm both days and features a thrilling flying display and full arena programme, as well as lots to do on the ground including displays, exhibitions and traders.

This year's event will be launched in spectacular style on Friday 29 July, with aFREE celebration event for all the family,from 7-10pm. Come along and enjoy the live music, night-flying and dramatic fireworks display over the sea.

*Trade and exhibition space, souvenir programme advertising and sponsorship opportunities are now available.Please note that catering concessions have now all been allocated.

It is now the largest free Airshow in Europe, attracting around a million visitors each year and was officially recognised as England's Best Tourism Experience in the 'Enjoy England Awards for Excellence 2008'.
